Under the Vindhya Vikas Path project, a 105.01-kilometer long two-lane road between Damoh and Katni will be upgraded to a four-lane highway. The cabinet has approved this proposal by allocating ₹4,470 crore for its development. This route is part of State Highway-63. Currently, the traffic pressure here exceeds that of 10,000 passenger car units, leading to increased traffic jams and accidents.
