Milk will be more expensive in Indore from October 1st; farmers' union and sellers face off. The seller's union has set a new rate of ₹65, but the farmers say they won't accept anything less than ₹70.

In Indore, India, the price of milk is set to increase starting October 1st. The Indore Milk Sellers Association has announced an increase in the price of milk delivered at home from ₹63 to ₹65 per liter and the price of milk sold at shops from ₹68 per liter. On the other hand, the Madhya Pradesh Milk Farmers' Union has termed this increase insufficient and demanded a purchase price of ₹70 per liter for farmers. The farmers have warned that if their demand is not met, they will stop supplying milk.
