Action at an edible oil warehouse in Indore: 10,500 liters of Sona Sikka brand oil seized, worth ₹2.1 million; license also not found.

The Food Safety Administration has launched a special campaign in Indore to check adulteration and quality of edible oils. As part of the campaign, action was taken on Wednesday in Malharganj and Siaganj. Food safety officials took a total of 11 samples of edible oil from different establishments for testing, while approximately 10,500 liters of edible oil were seized from a warehouse located in Malharganj. The estimated value of the seized goods is around ₹21 lakh.
