100 Instagram IDs blocked for inciting trouble in the mosque dispute: Social media is investigating who was contacted and seeking information related to the organization.

Following the unrest during the removal of a damaged portion of the Shahi Masjid in Ujjain, police have intensified action on social media as well. Police have blocked over 100 Instagram and Facebook accounts/pages that contained inflammatory and viral content related to the unrest. The police are now investigating the mobile phones, social media activities, and CDRs of arrested accused individuals to determine who was in contact with whom before and after the unrest.
