Crime Branch action in Anant Chaturdashi procession: 1000 people checked, 55 suspects arrested; knives and e-cigarettes seized from liquor and marijuana.

The Indore Crime Branch conducted an extensive checking campaign regarding security arrangements during the Anant Chaturdashi Chala Samaroh-2026. Seven teams of 137 officers and employees from the Crime Branch continuously monitored, patrolled, and checked suspicious people and vehicles in the Chala Samaroh and surrounding areas. According to the police, around 1000 people were checked during this period, and action was taken against 55 suspected individuals in various cases.
