A case of promotion and retirement in the Cooperative Department of Madhya Pradesh has come to light, raising questions about the system. The government promoted Assistant Registrar Suresh Sanwle from Barwani to Joint Registrar. He took charge of his new position in Indore at around 11 am on August 31st and retired at 5 pm the same day. After the promotion, Sanwle's tenure in the new position was only about six hours.
