In Ujjain, a free mass tarpan (offering of water) has been going on for the past 12 years. Between 150 to 200 people have attended, and tarpan is also offered in the name of deceased ancestors. Arrangements for Brahmbhoj (a meal offering) and cow service are also made.

For the past 12 years, a free collective Tarpan program has been organized on the occasion of Shradh Paksha at the Nilkantheshwar Mahadev Temple complex in Ujjain, with approximately 150 to 200 people participating. Arrangements for Brahmabhoj and Ga Seva have also been made.
