Indore's mercury is soaring... crossing 35 degrees Celsius for the past 12 days: the night temperature is 16.8 degrees Celsius; yet, there's no respite from the heat and humidity in the evening.

Even after half of October has passed, the effect of heat is not decreasing in Indore. People are troubled by heat and humidity, with intense sunlight during the day and in the evening as well. The maximum temperature in the city has been consistently between 35 and 36 degrees Celsius for the past 12 days. On Monday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 35.5 degrees Celsius. Usually, in October, the weather starts to cool down in the evening, but this time, even after sunset, the heat continues.
