In Indore, government hospitals have bacteria in their water: 6 out of 15 samples tested positive for coliform, 5 for E. coli; MYH and PC Sethi's water found contaminated.

A serious situation has emerged in the Indore area of India, following a municipal corporation investigation regarding the quality of water being provided to patients and their families in government hospitals. The municipal corporation's water testing lab took 15 water samples from various government hospitals and their premises. Of these, 6 samples contained Coliform bacteria and 5 contained E. coli. According to the report, as per the set standard, Coliform and E. coli should not be detected in 100 ml of water.
