Grain traders in Jobat will shut down their business on September 17th. This decision has been taken in protest against the new rules of the Mandi Board. The Jobat Traders Association has given written notice to the Secretary of the Agricultural Produce Market Committee, Jobat. Due to this shutdown, there will be no buying and selling of grains in the market on Thursday. In their letter, the association stated that both traders and farmers are troubled by the new rules. Under these rules, cash is being collected at the farm gate of the Mandi.
