Property-water tax raised ₹181.12 crore for urban bodies: Indore Corporation collected ₹95.59 crore in a single day, with Mandsaur and Rau Municipal Corporations leading the way.

In the Lok Adalat held in the state on September 12th, urban bodies collected a total of ₹192.57 crore in taxes and other items. The largest share of this came from property and water tax. From these two items alone, urban bodies raised a total of ₹181.12 crore. According to the department's analysis, out of 413 urban bodies in the state, 185 bodies met their set target.
