The Indore Municipal Corporation imposed a spot fine of ₹2.10 lakh for finding drainage water in the borewells; action taken in the South Tukoganj area.

The Indore Municipal Corporation team inspected the rainwater harvesting system in Nath Mandir Road, South Tukoganj area, Ward-55 of Zone-11 on Wednesday. The team inspected various buildings and establishments. During this time, no provision for rainwater harvesting was found in the premises of Itlati Saree, Rajendra Gupta/Shanti Gupta, Girish Ladakh, and Munira Kudrati. In some premises, drainage water was found in the borewells.
