2 crore worth of copper scrap seized in Ujjain: The driver could not produce the bill and transport documents, and the total weight, including the vehicles, was 16.5 tons.

Ujjain police seized five loading vehicles filled with copper scrap near the bridge near the Ranakeshwar temple late Monday night. Approximately 11 tons of copper scrap were found in the vehicles, which is estimated to be worth around 20 million rupees. Police have arrested five people from Indore in connection with the case. The seized vehicles are estimated to be worth between 2.5 to 3 million rupees. According to the police, the scrap was being transported from a factory in Pithampur.
