Ahilyapath has been stuck for the past two years. The 4-kilometer MR-11, the 10-kilometer MR-12, and the 5-kilometer MR-3 have been incomplete for 10-15 years.

The primary responsibility for constructing the roads of the master plan lies with the Indore Development Authority (IDA). In addition to the proposed roads in the authority's residential and commercial plans, IDA is also responsible for creating Major Roads (MR) to reduce the traffic load on the city's main roads. However, for the past 15-20 years, IDA has been unable to complete even its major roads. The new roads that have been proposed are yet to be decided upon even after two years.
