Two new names have surfaced in the Vikas murder case: Imran and Babu are also accused in the Gunawad incident in Dhar. The family had demanded a bulldozer action after placing the body on the four-lane road.

In the case of Vikas Kayast's murder by stabbing, police have named two more accused in the Sadalpur police station area of Dhar district. These include Imran, son of Iqbal, and Babu. Both have not been arrested yet. Earlier, police had arrested Saddam alias Golu, son of Iqbal, a resident of Gunawad village. According to the police, Vikas had an argument with the accused over a dispute about coming to the Tirupati Hotel.
