Patwari arrested in Khargone for taking a bribe of ₹20,000: Case registered against 3 people including the Tehsildar, as they were demanding ₹2 lakh for agricultural land mutation.

The Lokayukta team in Indore caught Khumsingh Dharve, a Patwari from Segao tehsil, red-handed on Monday night while accepting a bribe of 20,000 rupees. The action took place near the Patidar Medical facility opposite Sharda Hospital. According to the Lokayukta, the Patwari had demanded 2 lakh rupees from Puneet Nadiwal, a resident of Badi Kasrawad, for the mutation of agricultural land. After receiving the complaint, the team conducted verification and caught the Patwari on Monday night while accepting the first installment of the bribe.
