Draft Bhopal Master Plan 2047 released: Residents will not be able to conduct business in residential areas yet; objections and claims will be considered.

The Madhya Pradesh government released the draft of the Bhopal Master Plan-2047 on Saturday, but this will not provide relief from sealing for shops operating in residential areas for the time being. The Supreme Court has clarified in its order dated September 22 that merely proposing to change the land use of an area in the new master plan is not sufficient. The Supreme Court's permission will be required to finalize the plan, and existing sealing actions will continue until then.
