Corporation survey: Obstacles in 22 zones, minor improvements in 197 places

In Indore, India, several minor road obstacles are responsible for traffic jams, along with larger causes. A survey conducted by the corporation across its 22 zones identified 395 spots where vehicles' speed is being affected due to poles, lamp posts, raised and low chambers, damaged roads, encroachments, and haphazard parking. Among these, minor repairs need to be carried out in 197 locations. Temporary encroachments will be removed in 66 places, electricity poles will be shifted in 51 places, and 16 trees will be removed or relocated.
