24 cattle being transported to Maharashtra seized: 10 cows died on the way, 14 alive sent to a cow shelter, two accused arrested.

The Nimbola police station in Burhanpur apprehended an ice vehicle loaded with cattle near Jhanjhar Phate on the Indore-Ichchhapur highway on Wednesday. 24 cattle were seized from the vehicle, including 10 that had already died. Police have arrested two accused, including the driver of the vehicle. According to police, the cattle were being taken to Maharashtra. The arrested accused have been identified as Gopal Verma, a resident of Pachore, Rajgarh, and Zubair, a resident of Kachikhedi village in Sarangpur.
