In Khandwa, heavy vehicles are prohibited from entering on September 25th: 8 areas designated as no-vehicle zones; passenger bus routes also changed.

In Khandwa, along with the Ganesh idol immersion on September 25th, there will also be a procession in the evening. From morning onwards, Ganesh idols will arrive from different areas of the city as processions through the main roads to the immersion site. Considering the crowd and traffic pressure, the police have made changes to the traffic arrangements. According to Traffic TI Devendrasingh Parihar, heavy goods vehicles will be allowed in the city from 8 am on September 25th until the idol immersion is over.
