The US-based organization NCMEC reported that out of the 6.9 million cyber tip lines received by India, chargesheets were not filed in even 1% of cases. Bhaskar then traced the digital links of action taken in Madhya Pradesh based on similar tip lines and found that the investigation started with the US report had reached rural areas of Indore, Dewas, Dhar, and Ratlam. Among those who viewed content related to child sexual abuse, Indore is a major area in Madhya Pradesh.
