Today in Indore, a grand procession will be held on Gogaa Navami. More than 65 floats and tableaux will pass through 28 Valmiki settlements, gathering at the Rajbada (royal residence); traffic will be diverted.

The Valmiki community will celebrate the Navami of their revered Veer Gogadev with devotion and enthusiasm on Friday. Attractive processions, flags, and Akharas from around 28 Valmiki settlements in the city will proceed in the evening accompanied by band music. All the flags will reach Rajbada by around 9 pm.
