Major crackdown on sugar in Indore: More than the prescribed limit was found in the chocolate factory, and 375 quintals of sugar were seized.

The Food Department in Indore took action on Wednesday under the Sugar Control Order-2026, which was implemented regarding sugar stock. During an inspection at a chocolate manufacturing unit located in Palda, more than the prescribed limit of sugar stock was found. The team seized 375 quintals of sugar from the spot. Currently, documents and stock are being investigated. A joint team of the Food Department inspected Papay Nutrition, 360/1 Udyog Nagar, Palda.
