Landowners who approached the court after receiving low compensation following land acquisition have been relieved by the High Court. The court clarified that if the landowner or their representative was not present when the compensation was determined and was not informed of the order, the six-month deadline will not be counted from the date the order was issued. In such a situation, the deadline will start from the day the landowner was informed of the compensation order.
