A young man from Indore has committed suicide after consuming poison just four months into his marriage. A suicide note was found in which he mentioned his wife's affair and stated that her family demanded ₹5 lakh as dowry.

In Indore, India, a 24-year-old man committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance four months after his wedding in the Sanwer Road area. The deceased left behind a suicide note before his death, in which he accused his wife, Kavita, of having an affair with her brother-in-law. He also accused his in-laws of demanding 500,000 rupees and threatening to sell his wife if they refused. Police have seized the suicide note and started investigating the case.
