Allegation of selling Murum (a type of sweet) from government land in Khandwa: 4 million rupees spent in the name of Transport Nagar, Collector directs investigation.

A case has emerged in the city of Khandwa regarding the alleged extraction of murum (a type of rock) from government land and its subsequent sale in private colonies and markets. It is alleged that the land from which the murum was being extracted belongs to the municipal corporation, and the extracted murum was intended for use as a fill material in Transport Nagar. The municipal corporation has already spent approximately 40 lakh rupees on this purpose. In response to the case, Leader of Opposition Mullu Rathore has filed a complaint with the Collector, demanding an investigation and action.
