Planning for air network expansion, helipad every 45 kilometers: There will soon be 10 airports in MP, and an airstrip will be built every 75 kilometers.

In Madhya Pradesh, the air network is being expanded for the travel of common people, religious tourism, and emergency treatment. Under the state government's Civil Aviation Policy-2025, there is a plan to prepare airports at every 150 km, airstrips at 75 km, and helipads at 45 km. Currently, there are 8 airports, more than 20 airstrips, and 220 helipads in the state. By the year 2023-24, there were 5 airports in Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior, and Khajuraho.
