Police on Sunday revealed the theft of DI pipes worth lakhs of rupees under the 'Amrit 2.0' water supply scheme in Nagar Parishad Dola, Anuppur district. Police have arrested a driver in connection with this case. A freezer truck used in the theft and 49 DI pipes worth ₹3.50 lakh were also recovered. The arrested truck driver is 55-year-old Ansar Patel, a resident of Indore. Police are searching for other unidentified accused involved in the incident.
