In Mandsaur, 5 accused have been sentenced in two cases: 2 to 5 years in prison for Doda Chura smuggling, and 3 to life imprisonment for murder.

The Mandsaur District Court sentenced five accused in two separate cases on Friday. In the Dodachura smuggling case, two accused were sentenced to 5 years in prison and a fine of ₹25,000 each. Meanwhile, in the Multanpura youth murder case, three accused were sentenced to life imprisonment. In this case, two other accused, Shahrukh and Shakeel, went absconding on the day of the verdict. The accused were carrying 26 kg and 400 grams of Dodachura, according to police media.
