MGM Indore case: Students increased their marks and got postings in villages, increased up to 500 marks, the beginning of the mess-up that happened in March.

A discrepancy in the marks for mandatory bond service posting in rural areas has come to light at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial (MGM) Medical College, Indore. A difference was found between the actual scores of 19 students and the marks recorded in their merit list. In these cases, two students have a discrepancy of 500-500 marks more than they should have scored. Due to the higher score, their position improved in the merit list, and based on this merit, they were assigned postings in rural areas.
