The 231st death anniversary of Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai is being celebrated as the Ahilya Utsav in Indore. The traditional palanquin procession began from Gandhi Hall on Thursday evening, with a large number of city residents participating in it. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm due to the presence of drums, bhajan groups, tableaux, and akharas. The palanquin procession of Mata Ahilyabai started from Gandhi Hall with full rituals, where the police band accompanied this palanquin procession.
