The teachers' movement continues with three demands, including the requirement of a Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). Preparations are underway to take the movement to the district level. On Gandhi Jayanti, October 2nd, teachers will observe a fast and stage a satyagraha at all district headquarters across the state. Teachers will peacefully protest in front of Gandhi statues and submit memorandums of their demands to the concerned authorities. The fifth day of the protest is being held at Neelam Park, where representatives from the Rewa-Shahdol division are participating.
