198 deaths in 9 months at 7 black spots: Road Safety Committee in Khandwa directs improvements, NHAI discusses shortcomings.

A district-level road safety committee meeting was held in Khandwa on Thursday to discuss ways to prevent road accidents and ensure safe traffic management. Collector Rishav Gupta and SP Agam Jain took information from officials about road safety-related works at the Collectorate auditorium. Officials from NHAI, traffic police, and administration were present at the meeting. According to the traffic police, there were 7 black spots, and 198 deaths in 9 months in the district, with 7 black spots identified.
