A major conspiracy has come to light in Indore regarding cement concrete roads (CC roads). The layers of an 800 crore scam involving a nexus between corporation officials and contractors are beginning to unravel. In fact, the corporation spent 800 crores over the past five years on the construction of cement roads. Investigations have revealed that the corporation mostly demolished and rebuilt the same roads that were already CC-rated. Notably, there is an issue with the quality of CC roads in Indore.
