Kharagone district has been experiencing intermittent heavy rainfall for the past two days. On Sunday afternoon, around 3 pm, the Kasrawad area received torrential rain with thunder and lightning for about an hour and a half. According to estimates, approximately 2 inches of rain fell here. Traffic on the Kharagone-Indore road was affected due to the rain. Drivers had to drive slowly with their headlights on. There were also reports of waterlogging in low-lying areas of fields. The rain has damaged cotton and soybean crops.
