Politics has intensified in Indore regarding the Garba celebrations ahead of Navratri. Former minister Usha Thakur has demanded a ban on the entry of non-Hindus into Garba pandals. She stated that those who hide their identity by wearing tilak and kalwa should also be investigated. Thakur said that every year, approximately 450,000 Hindu girls elope with non-religious men and give birth to around 900,000 children the following year. Usha Thakur made these statements on Tuesday.
