9 new depots will be built: 520 new buses will be added in 6 months; routes to be determined with real-time monitoring from ITMS.

Preparations are underway to launch 486 PM e-buses and 34 new intercity buses in the state within six months. This aims to increase the number of buses to 1100 by 2027. Nine new depots will be built for these new buses, each with a capacity to park 100 buses. There are also plans to introduce an Intelligent Transport Management System (ITMS) for bus operations. Experts at the Passenger Transport Vision Summit-2026 have proposed increasing the number of buses and developing route plans.
