The Indore bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court has quashed a nearly six-decade-old sealing action related to approximately 1,501 bighas of land in Baneria village and the Baneria tank. The court found that the sealing act notice was issued in the name of Sardar Madhav Rao Kibe, the original landowner, about nine months after his death. On Wednesday, the court quashed the entire action, deeming it illegal based on this ground. Justice Sandeep N. Bhatt.
