Social activist ends his 9th day of hunger strike in Indore: Corporation provides written assurance that posters and banners will be removed from major intersections.

Social activist Prahlad Pandey's hunger strike ended on Thursday after 9 days, demanding the removal of illegal banners and posters from roads and intersections in Indore. Pandey was on a hunger strike at the Gandhi statue located at Regal Square after being assaulted while filming an illegal banner-poster at Marimata intersection on September 16th. He called off his fast after officials from the Municipal Corporation and administration gave him written assurance of action.
