About two decades ago, some farmers in this village, located about 25 km from the district headquarters, started cultivating white musli on a limited scale. As income from the crop increased and demand in the market grew, other farmers also joined in. Now, about 95% of the villagers are cultivating white musli on an area of 150 to 200 hectares.
