The High Court has taken strict action regarding loud speakers in Indore, stating that these sounds are not audible to officials and a report is expected within a week.

The Indore bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court has taken a strict stance on loudspeakers blaring at excessive levels and increasing noise pollution in Indore city. The court stated that officials are unable to hear the sounds coming from all directions. A double bench comprising Justices Subodh Abhyankar and Jai Kumar Pillai directed the state government and police officers to effectively enforce noise pollution rules and take action against those who violate them.
