Youth murdered on suspicion of conversation with wife: Two convicts sentenced to life imprisonment; he was tied and beaten with belts and sticks while returning from the Bhagwat Katha.

In the Malgaon village of the Khalwa area in Khandwa, a young man was brutally beaten to death on suspicion of having a conversation with his wife. The court sentenced two convicts to life imprisonment on Friday in the case. The young man was returning home after playing the dholak in the Bhagwat Katha at the Ram temple when the accused accosted him on the way. They tied him with a rope, dragged him, and severely beat him with leather belts and bamboo sticks. The young man died due to serious injuries.
