Disabled candidates were turned away from the examination center because they had arrived with a scribe and asked for a gap certificate at the last minute. They said that their dreams were shattered.

Three differently-abled candidates who had arrived to take the Group-2 Sub Group-4 exam of the Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board (MPESB) were allegedly denied entry from the examination center. The three candidates had reached Shri Vaishnav Polytechnic College with a scribe (assistant). The candidates allege that after reaching the center, their documents were checked, photos were taken, and they were granted entry only after verification by higher officials.
