Public representatives in Indore have taken charge of the cleaning system: Cleaning volunteers are on vacation for Gogamaharavami; the Mayor, Commissioner, and residents cleaned up.

Due to Gogaa Navami, sanitation workers in Indore were given a day off on Sunday. To ensure that the city's cleaning system was not affected, the Mayor, Municipal Commissioner, MIC members, councilors, and representatives from social organizations themselves took to the streets to clean up. In the morning, Mayor Pushyamitro Bhargava, Municipal Commissioner Kshitij Singhal, MIC members Niranjan Singh Chauhan Guddu, Ashwini Shukla, councilors Kamal Vaghela and Rupali Pendharkar, along with people from several other organizations, reached Rajbada.
