Burglary in empty houses in Ujjain: Locks of four houses were found broken; chain tops and cash missing. A retired soldier abandoned his gun and fled on a bike.

In the Vrindavan Dham Colony of Nanakheda police station area in Ujjain, thieves targeted four empty houses last night. A gold chain, earrings, and approximately 15,000 rupees in cash were stolen from one house, while attempts to steal from three other houses were made. After receiving the information, the Nanakheda police and a team of fingerprint experts arrived at the scene and started an investigation. The attempted theft occurred at the home of a retired army officer who resides in the colony.
