Villagers Upset by Power Cuts During Aarti, Block Highway: They protested by reciting Hanuman Chalisa on the road; they relented upon the written assurance of AE.

In Malwa, villagers, upset by power cuts during the aarti ceremony during Navratri, blocked the Indore-Kota National Highway on Monday night. Around 8:30 pm, villagers sat on the road at the People's Road intersection and began reciting the Hanuman Chalisa. This led to long queues of vehicles on the highway. The traffic was cleared around 10 pm after a written assurance from the electricity department's AE, Manjesh Mishra.
