The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is set to make monitoring street lighting on national highways and expressways across the country a smarter process. To achieve this, a Centralized Control and Monitoring System (CCMS) is being implemented. In the new system, an alert will be sent directly to the control room as soon as a light fails, along with its location.
