Demand for new trains including intercity stoppages in Lamta-Changotola: Congress protest in Balaghat; Paraswada MLA says MP's failure is discriminatory towards the region.

On Monday, Congress MLAs protested at Balaghat Railway Station demanding rail facilities. They demanded stoppages for the Jabalpur-Raipur Intercity and Rewa-Itwari Express trains in Lamta and Changotola, timely operation of local trains, and the introduction of new rail services to Bhopal, Indore, and Delhi. After the demonstration, a memorandum was submitted to the Station General Manager, Krishna Mohan Choudhary. Discussions on rail problems were held with passengers and students.
