An FIR has been registered at the GRP police station in Indore against Ritesh Sharma, a constable, on charges of attempting to kill a rape victim by poisoning her. The victim alleges that the accused lured her to the SP office premises under the pretext of discussing a settlement and forced her to drink poison mixed with water. Based on the 28-year-old victim's complaint, Chhoti Gwal Toli police registered a case against the accused constable on Wednesday. The accused is facing charges in connection with a rape case that was allegedly perpetrated by promising marriage.
