A case related to a comment in Dewas has emerged; four to five attacks were carried out.

The dispute that started in a garden near the Ganesh pandal in Mukherjee Nagar, Dewas city, over an obscene comment made to a woman quickly escalated into knife-fighting and stone-pelting. After a dispute with her husband who had arrived to protest the obscene remark against his wife, the accused, along with his accomplices, reached the spot and attempted to attack them. During this time, Rahul alias Sonu, a resident of the colony who tried to intervene, was brutally stabbed with knives on his stomach, chest, and other parts of his body.
